My name is Elias, and I am a freshman at Emory University planning to major in Mathematics, with a possible second major in Physics or Political Science. I study on the Atlanta campus. I graduated from Freedom High School in Orlando, Florida in 2025, where I received school awards in Math, Science, and Macroeconomics. I am also a QuestBridge Scholar.
I tutor Math, Physics, English, essay prep, Chemistry, Biology, SAT/PSAT prep, ACT prep, and chess. I scored 1550 on the SAT (790 Math, 760 EVBRW) and 34 on the ACT. My AP Scores were: Biology (5), Calculus BC (5), Chemistry (4), English Language and Composition (5), English Literature and Composition (5), Environmental Science (5), Macroeconomics (5), Physics 1 (5), Physics C Electricity and Magnetism (5), Physics C Mechanics (5), Seminar (4), Statistics (5), United States Government (5), US History (4).
I have always enjoyed both learning and teaching. During my senior year of high school, I worked as a tutor for K–12 students. Through that experience, I developed a range of tutoring strategies so I could adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning needs. I also volunteered as an SAT Math tutor with an organization that connected me with students across the United States.
These experiences helped me learn how to explain complex ideas in clear, accessible ways while still preserving the depth of the material. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students solve problems, but also to build their confidence and understanding.
I look forward to working with you!
