Hello! My name is Jonaki, and I’m a rising sophomore at Northwestern University studying Social Policy and Statistics. I’ve been tutoring students for years, and I love helping students build skills and gain confidence in challenging subjects. My goal is always to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes.

I have significant experience with standardized test preparation. In high school, I scored in the 99th percentile on both the ACT and PSAT and was also a National Merit Finalist. Through my testing and tutoring experience, I have developed a strong understanding of how these tests work and how to help students with both the content knowledge and the test-taking strategies they need to succeed. I was also a nationally competitive debater in high school, winning several tournaments including the Tournament of Champions, and have coached students in public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation.

I also tutor a wide range of subjects, including math, history, and science, and have extensive experience tutoring middle and high school students both in person and online. Because every student learns differently, I always tailor sessions to each student’s individual goals, strengths, and learning style. I'm looking forward to supporting students on their academic journeys!
