I’m a sophomore at Amherst College, where I’m majoring in Mathematics, Education, and Psychology. I’m passionate about teaching and love helping students discover confidence and excitement in learning.
I’ve worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. In high school, I volunteered with Infinity Squad, mentoring elementary school students in math. At Amherst, I serve as a Teaching Assistant for both an introductory statistics course and a BC Calculus class, where I lead review sessions, answer homework questions, and meet one-on-one with students who want extra support.
I tutor Mathematics through Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra, English, History, Psychology, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, PSAT, SAT (I scored 1530 with 790 on Math and 740 on Reading & Writing), ACT (I had a 35), AP exam prep, Preparation, Fencing, Drawing, Painting, Theater, Origami. My AP scores were Art History (5), Biology (5), Calculus BC (5), Chemistry (5), English Literature (5), English Language (5), European History (5), Physics 1 (4), Psychology (5), Spanish Language (3), U.S. History (5), World History (5).
Outside the classroom, I’m the president of the Amherst College Fencing Club, where I coach and mentor new fencers, and I love tutoring young fencers. I also enjoy sharing my love of the arts through tutoring in drawing, painting, theater, and origami.
Whether I’m helping a student tackle calculus problems or refine an essay, my goal is always to make learning engaging, approachable, and rewarding.
